They were able to accommodate a big group, however, the "orange juice" came out of a can and was not good at all. Moreover, most plates (pasta with meat balls, pizza, eggplant sandwich) had the same tomato that was not good :(. I had the seared mahi mahi salad and it was the only ok dish.

Food was decent. Service good. The clam chowder was delicious and creamy. The expected high quality from east coast establishments.

When I arrived, I was pleasantly greeted by the hostess. I told her I would be seated at the bar and she told me to enjoy my food. When I sat down at the bar, again I was immediately greeted by the bartender and asked if I would be eating and what would I like to drink. I ordered and was served promptly. My food was delivered (Chicken Milanese and a side of pasta puttanesca) piping hot and delicious. My co-diners had a bowl of N.E. Chowder, a Stuffie, Chicken Parm with pasta and a special of Pasta and Clam Sauce fra daviolo style. We all enjoyed are food, the portions were great and the seasonings/taste was deliciousssss. We will be back.

When we stopped by Aldo's Restaurant on Block Island for dinner on a Thursday evening, we weren't sure what to expect. There was no wait, and the restaurant wasn't very crowded. Our host kindly asked if we preferred to sit indoors or outdoors. Our waitress took our order, and although it took a while for the food to arrive, it was well worth the wait. The pizza, veal parm, chicken parm, and meatballs were all top-notch, with one of the best sauces I've ever tasted. Highly recommended!

Food is good but renting bikes from them is not the best choice. Bikes are not that good and too old.

Welcome to Aldo's Restaurant, a delightful eatery located at 130 Chapel St, New Shoreham, RI. This charming establishment is the perfect destination for food lovers seeking a casual yet inviting atmosphere. With a phone number for reservations or inquiries at +1 401-466-5871, Aldo's promises a warm welcome and memorable dining experiences.

Aldo's Restaurant is well-known for its blend of classic Italian flavors and contemporary culinary techniques. Diners rave about the clam chowder, often described as deliciously creamy and a staple on the East Coast. The Chicken Milanese and Chicken Parmigiana have garnered praise for being served piping hot and bursting with flavor, ensuring that the portions satisfy even the heartiest of appetites.

However, not all dishes have resonated with patrons. A recent review highlighted concerns about the consistency of flavors, particularly that some pasta dishes appeared to be enhanced by the same less-than-stellar tomato sauce. While the seared mahi-mahi salad received a thumbs up, the restaurant may want to refine certain menu elements based on customer feedback.

Yet, what stands out at Aldo's is the attentive service. Visitors have noted the friendly dispositions of both host and staff, contributing to a welcoming dining environment. The option to dine indoors or outdoors offers guests a choice that can elevate their experience based on the day’s mood.
